Carry each other’s burdens, and in
this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

We will all experience defining moments throughout our lives—exciting milestones, challenging circumstances, relational pain, and seasons of transition. The way we face these moments has a direct impact on our futures. Desert Vineyard Care Ministries provide a network of support, access to helpful resources, compassionate volunteers, and people training in  spiritual care to help you move forward.

Care Connect | Prayer and Hospital Visitation

Our Care Connect ministry is two-fold. The first is to connect with those requesting prayer by phone or by mail. We want to assure you that you are not alone in crying out to God. Secondly, Care Connect sends people out to visit those who find themselves in hospital or home-bound care. We bring friendly faces and prayerful hearts to your bedside to help ease the stresses of that time.

Prayer Team

We believe in the power and the necessity of prayer in all aspects of our lives. At each of our weekend services, the Prayer Ministry team provides intercession and prayer for salvation, comfort, and understanding for anyone who has need. If you have a sympathetic heart and would like to intercede on behalf of our church and its members consider joining our prayer team. We pray concurrent with every service in the prayer room, and in the sanctuary alongside any responding in prayer at the conclusion of services.

Memorial Services

We provide memorial services for our church family and others as we are able. In some of the most difficult times, we find that the process of planning and coordinating memorial services can be overwhelming. Our memorial team comes alongside that process to ease the pressure and help bring comfort and love in the hardest of times.  Click below for more information about services held at the Desert Vineyard.
Memorial Services during the Pandemic:
So much has changed in the midst of the current public health crisis, but our desire to come alongside you in your time of grief, to ease the burdens of planning and preparing services, and to support you with care has not changed.  While our services on campus are now smaller, outdoors, and with fewer features, they are still available.  In addition, we have prepared the following information to assist you with planning your own, less conventional, memorial celebration of life or even honoring your loved one without a service, if necessary.
Please call 661-945-2777 for more information or to begin the process of scheduling a service at the Desert Vineyard.

Spiritual Care

We have developed a team of mature Christians trained in spiritual caregiving that would love to sit alongside you to listen and encourage you in your faith journey. You are not alone and you can have someone who cares who will sit/walk with you as you follow Jesus and maneuver life's challenges.
Becoming a Spiritual Caregiver :
Perhaps God has placed a desire in your life to offer spiritual care to people in need of someone to talk with.  If that describes you and you would like information about our spiritual care  team,  please contact Crystal Roseborough at [email protected]
